The download I got had structure that differed from paths. The WP plugin editor could not be activated. When I pulled wppa.php out of the pile and put it on top, I got activation. I am in the middle of juggling the code units until I am able to create albums and by and by hopefully some content and so forth. Hang in there. Hope this helps.
