The Open Design Community

Most of you probably heard of openwebdesign.org, which was a great site for downloading free web templates. My public WordPress themes are ported from designs released there. A few months ago, the site was sold, and the new owner wasn’t so considerate of the open source designers. It was time for community action. Temporary forums were set up, where the members voted a board of admins, who would manage the new site. The lack of one single owner will prevent ’selling out’ in the future. In less then a week, a fully functional site was set up, and OWD’s best designers already submitted their designs to the site.
So please show your support to our new site, OpenDesigns.org. IF you need hight quality website designs for free, OpenDesigns.org is the place to look.
